kde-telepathy-desktop-applets software package provides KDE Telepathy desktop widgets, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-telepathy-desktop-applets
kde-telepathy-desktop-applets is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-telepathy-desktop-applets package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-telepathy-desktop-applets *
You will get with kde-telepathy-desktop-applets package name, version, architecture and description in a table
